Rockies Cafe

Very nice breakfast spot! It is truly Mountain Feels with a Beach Vibe. As someone from Colorado, I appreciated the balance. We had a couple of the toasts (very generous portions), a mango sunrise smoothie and a coffee. All delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try something from the baked goods on display.

We stopped by Rockies Café this morning and were genuinely impressed. We ordered a cold brew, a chai latte, and the Rocky Point breakfast burrito—and everything hit the spot. The burrito was packed with all the breakfast essentials: eggs, bacon, sausage, avocado, cheese, and hash browns. It was hearty, flavorful, and really well put together. The drinks were solid too—the chai had a nice blend of spice without being overpowering. The space itself is warm and inviting. Comfy chairs, great lighting, and a mix of mountain-inspired and beachy decor. I especially loved the pothos vines hanging from the ceiling—it added a cozy, lived-in touch that made the place feel extra welcoming. True to its slogan, this café nails the mountain feels and beachside vibes. Would definitely return.

Update: I've been back a few times now and the gluten free toast is no longer a decent serving size, it's a two small pieces now, disappointing. Pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. The coffee was good, although my latte wasn't exactly hot, more like warm. The burritos were a good size with lots of filling and very tasty. The gluten free avocado toast was delicious and was a decent size. Usually when you order gf you get a tiny portion and a large up charge, so I definitely appreciated the portion size. This will definitely be a regular stop for us. The patio would definitely be more functional with several smaller tables versus the two large picnic tables that are there. Lots of people like to bring their dogs, or just sit outside and there were 2 people at each giant table outside, so not very functional. Parking is very limited.

We often go on an early beach walk and we walked on Easter Sunday. On our way back home we noticed that Rockies Cafe was open. What a pleasant surprise! The staff was wonderful and the food was delicious! We had a Greek style and a Boulder Veggie breakfast burrito. Also, the coffee was great and they offer Free refills on drip coffee! We will be back! Clean and very trendy decor!

Was in the area for an event and stopped by in the morning for a quick bite and work session. Food was fire, got one of their burritos. Atmosphere super cool, lives up to the "rockies" name, snowboard on the wall, mountain pics hung up. Cool blend of beach and mountain vibes. Super clean inside and nice team members. Rockies > Starbucks

This place has such great vibes. The staff are super friendly. Delicious burritos, sandwiches, and smoothies. The burrito was too good I couldn’t get a picture of it! Can’t wait to go back!

You are missing out if you visit Melbourne Beach and don’t stop by here. We went twice because it was just so unmatched, deliciousness portion and value. Everyone’s so friendly and everything came out fairly quick. We go to Hawaii often but are from the Rockies so we loved to see the island vibes/food names, mountain decor, just such an amazing hidden gem, don’t sleep on this brekkie!

I can’t recommend Rockies enough. I was really excited when I saw it preparing to open, and it has not disappointed since opening. The staff is friendly and helpful. The coffee is high quality and the espresso drinks by default are not too sweet. The food is tasty and high quality. I mostly have ordered the breakfast burritos, but I’ve tried a few and they have all been good. The atmosphere is also unique — it’s a cozy place to hang out, but also a great space to escape the heat. Small detail, but the music is also good/chill every time I’ve been in there. This is a staple kind of cafe and is perfect for Ocean Ave!
